Capricorn Clark, former personal assistant to Sean “Diddy” Combs, is expected to testify Tuesday in federal court, potentially delivering pivotal testimony in the ongoing s.ɛ.x-trafficking tr.i.a.l of the music mogul.

Clark is anticipated to discuss a December 2011 incident involving a break-in at rapper Kid Cudi’s Hollywood Hills home. According to prior testimony by Cudi (Scott Mescudi), Clark phoned him “sounding terrified” to warn that Combs had just entered his home without permission—allegedly furious over Cudi’s relationship with Combs’ then on-and-off girlfriend, Cassie Ventura.

Cudi testified that he and Ventura were staying at the Sunset Marquis hotel when they received the panicked call. Clark reportedly claimed she had been forced by Combs and his security team to accompany them during the unauthorized entry.

This testimony is expected to be part of a broader pattern that prosecutors are building—depicting Combs as a controlling and dangerous figure prone to jealousy and retaliation. Prosecutors previously said jurors would hear of an incident where Combs, in the middle of the night, allegedly woke up an employee at gunpoint and demanded she lead him and a bodyguard to Ventura’s new partner’s house.

Clark may also confirm the authenticity of an email Cassie Ventura sent on December 23, 2011. In the message, Ventura allegedly warned Clark that Combs had threatened to harm both her and Kid Cudi. She also expressed fear that Combs might release private videos as retaliation. Prosecutors displayed this email in court, and Ventura’s mother testified it made her feel physically ill.

The trial, which began earlier this year in Manhattan, has already included several disturbing allegations and graphic evidence. Prosecutors have shown jurors photos of explicit items allegedly found in Combs’ home, including various adult materials, personal belongings, and a green case labeled “Diddy” containing illegal substances and weapons-related materials.

Clark will be the third former assistant to testify against the founder of Bad Boy Records. Another ex-staffer, David James, earlier testified that Combs once forced Clark to take a lie detector test after she was the victim of a robbery—seemingly to ensure she wasn’t involved.

In a now-deleted 2023 post on her private Twitter account, Clark appeared to refer to Combs when she wrote, “Last 11 years of my life, I have had to deal with EVERYONE’S nonsensical allegiance to the devil.”

Combs, 55, has denied all charges. He is currently being held without bail at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center and has pleaded not guilty to racketeering, s.ɛ.x trafficking, and related offenses. If convicted on all counts, he could face life in prison.

Prosecutors have said they expect to call witnesses for another four weeks. Upcoming testimony will reportedly include members of both the Los Angeles Police and Fire Departments. Judge Arun Subramanian has expressed hopes the trial could conclude by Independence Day.

As the trial unfolds, Clark’s testimony could provide crucial insight into Combs’ alleged behavior behind the scenes and strengthen the government’s claims of coercion and violence.
