Travis Kelce kept things light and playful when asked about rumors that he might propose to Taylor Swift during halftime at the upcoming Super Bowl.
The Kansas City Chiefs star was speaking with reporters on Monday when one daring question took the spotlight: “Are the rumors true? Are you proposing to Taylor at halftime?”
With a smile, Kelce quickly dodged the question, responding with his signature charm: “Wouldn’t you like to know?”
His cryptic answer left fans buzzing and speculating about the couple’s future plans, but Travis didn’t give away any more details, keeping the focus on the big game ahead.
While he kept his relationship plans under wraps, Kelce did offer some sweet insights into his connection with the pop star. He shared his admiration for Swift’s cooking skills, particularly her homemade Pop-Tarts, revealing that breakfast is his favorite meal. “Her Pop-Tarts are unbelievable,” Travis gushed. “I’m a breakfast guy, man. Unbelievable.”
He also opened up about how Taylor’s incredible work ethic inspires him. “If she’s out here being the superstar she is, never taking no for an answer, always working her tail off, I better match that energy for sure,” he said, showing his deep respect for his girlfriend’s determination and success.
When the conversation turned to who Taylor would be rooting for in the Super Bowl, Kelce made sure to clear up any speculation, especially with Taylor having ties to the Philadelphia area. While he wasn’t sure which team her father, Scott Swift, would support, he confirmed that Taylor would definitely be cheering for the Chiefs. “She’ll be all for the Chiefs this time, for sure,” Travis said confidently, adding, “I know her father has a Philly Phantom… as an Eagles fan.”
As for Taylor’s dad, Kelce admitted he hadn’t had a conversation with him about the game yet, but he guessed Scott might be wearing red. “I’ll have to ask Scott himself. We haven’t had that convo yet, but I think he’ll be wearing red. I don’t know.”
With the Super Bowl just days away, Kelce and Swift’s relationship continues to make headlines, but Travis remains focused on the task at hand: helping the Kansas City Chiefs secure a win. The Chiefs will face off against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, February 9, 2025, in New Orleans, Louisiana, in a thrilling rematch of last year’s Super Bowl. Whether or not a proposal is in the cards, it’s clear that all eyes will be on the Chiefs, Kelce, and the superstar who will likely be cheering them on from the stands.
